Announcement by Judiciary on arrangements during Black Rainstorm Warning (2)
****************************************************************************
The Black Rainstorm Warning Signal has been cancelled. The Judiciary has announced that all admission proceedings in the High Court and Saturday sittings in the Magistrates' Courts will be held as scheduled on June 20 (Saturday).
Those who are due to attend court hearings today (June 18) but were affected by the issuance of the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, including jurors, should do so at 9.30am on the next working day (June 22).
Court/tribunal registries and offices will remain open during business hours. Court users may also use the integrated Court Case Management System for those electronic services that have been implemented at individual court/tribunal registries as usual.
It is anticipated that there will be a significant number of people going to court on June 22, so court users are advised to arrive at the court buildings earlier, especially during busy periods in the morning and after lunch.
