The National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force (NSD) yesterday (December 9) laid a charge against a 77-year-old man with one count of "attempting to do or making any preparation to do an act or acts with seditious intention".

     NSD arrested the man in Cheung Sha Wan on December 8 for being suspected of “attempting to do or making any preparation to do an act or acts with seditious intention”, contravening Section 9 and 10 of the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200).
 
     The case will be mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow morning (December 11).
