Mainland live chicken supply to resume tomorrow (04.09.2014)

In response to media enquiries, a spokesman for the Food and Health Bureau said today (September 4) that notification has been received from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine that live chicken supply from the Mainland to Hong Kong will resume tomorrow. It is expected that about 6 800 live chickens will be imported to Hong Kong on the first day of resumption. There will also be about 1 500 live pigeons imported to Hong Kong tomorrow.
