The Lands Department issued five consents for the sale of 2,829 residential units and one consent for the sale of 446 commercial units in uncompleted development projects last month (January).

The residential units, located throughout the SAR, are estimated to be completed between May 2003 and September 2004, a spokesman for the Department said today (February 7).

At the end of January, there were 16 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 9,630 residential units throughout Hong Kong. The units are expected to be completed before September 2004.

In addition, there were eight applications for consent to assign involving residential units.
