The Lands Department issued four consents for the sale of 1,729 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (September).

The residential units throughout Hong Kong are estimated to be completed between March 2003 and March 2004, a spokesman for the Department said today (October 7).

At the end of September, there were 26 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 20,673 residential units throughout Hong Kong. The units are expected to be completed between August 2002 and June 2004.

In addition, there were four applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also six applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one other involving commercial units.
