Adverse reactions to anti-TB drugs
The great majority of TB patients tolerate the drugs well
without any adverse reactions. However, some patients may
develop certain side effects. Some of the commoner ones
include:
- - nausea and vomiting
- - decrease in appetite
- - fever
- - dizziness
- - ringing sensation in the ears (tinnitus)
- - blurring of vision
- - skin itchiness and skin rash
Patients developing these side effects or other discomfort
should consult their doctors for advice.
