Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, Miss Alice Mak, at a media session after visiting residents affected by the No. 3 alarm fire in Jordan at the Henry G. Leong Yaumatei Community Centre temporary shelter today (April 10):

Reporter: How many people are in need of alternative accommodations?

Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs: Currently, there are over a hundred affected residents in the shelter. The Home Affairs Department is trying our very best to provide assistance to all these affected residents and visitors.
