SDO provides emergency assistance to Shek O residents

     Affected by the rainstorm this morning, the recent collapse of Shek O Road near Lan Nai Wan expanded. In consideration of driving safety, the Police closed Shek O Road this morning (September 14). The Government is closely monitoring the situation in Shek O. Relevant departments are inspecting the relevant locations and will carry out emergency repairs as soon as possible.

     The Southern District Office (SDO) has mobilised the Care Teams of the Southern District to Shek O to provide assistance to their residents.

     For residents who have a pressing need to leave Shek O, the Government will assist them to leave urgently by the sea route. The Government has also disseminated the latest information to residents of Shek O through Care Teams and village representatives.
