"Designated Webpage for Secondary 6 Students" to help students prepare for HKDSE Examination results release day

     The results of the 2023 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination will be released on July 19. To assist Secondary Six (S6) students to prepare for the release of the HKDSE Examination results, the Education Bureau (EDB) has specially produced a series of reminder infographics for 2023 HKDSE Examination results release to enable S6 students, parents, and schools to obtain the latest information on multiple pathways through the "Designated Webpage for Secondary 6 Students" (Webpage) (www.edb.gov.hk/s6/en) in a timely manner.

     Students can receive important messages about the HKDSE Examination results release day, as well as information of multiple pathways, counselling and support services on the "Information on HKDSE Exam Results Release 2023" section of the Webpage. Moreover, S6 students can input their predicted or actual HKDSE Examination results to the mobile application "e-Navigator" (enavigator.edb.hkedcity.net/main/index.php) to search for programmes from local institutions for which they meet the minimum entrance requirements to work out appropriate articulation plans of their own.

     The Webpage has newly added the section "Reminders for 2023 HKDSE Exam Results Release" (334.edb.hkedcity.net/S6_webpage/en/infographic.php) this school year. Presented in vivid images and concise language, the Reminders enable S6 students to access the support measures for the HKDSE Examination results release easily, including useful information from the EDB, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA), Joint University Programmes Admissions System Office, and other non-governmental organisations, so as to help them plan their future studies and career pathways. The Reminders have been uploaded to the Webpage by phases since May. Moreover, the EDB specially produced "Motivational Videos - HKDSE Examination Results Release" to encourage the candidates. The Motivational Videos will be released on the Webpage in mid-July to instil positive energy in S6 students.

     The HKEAA has adopted a number of effective precautionary measures and contingency arrangements during the examination period to ensure the smooth completion of the 2023 HKDSE Examination. The EDB will continue to maintain close communication with schools and other stakeholders to help students plan for their future pathways. For the arrangements of the HKDSE Examination results release, schools are advised to refer to the latest announcements on the website of the HKEAA (www.hkeaa.edu.hk/en/).
