Resumption of postal services to certain destinations

     Hongkong Post announced today (May 9) that with the gradual scaling up of air freight capacity and provision of transit assistance by other postal administrations, airmail services to eight destinations and surface mail services to four destinations will resume from tomorrow (May 10). Details are given below:
 
Service to resume Destinations
Speedpost Brunei Darussalam, Guam, Myanmar
Air letter and packet Brunei Darussalam, Guam, Moldova, Myanmar, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Solomon Islands
Surface letter, packet and parcel Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Guam*, Norfolk Islands
*Surface parcel service not available
 
     Additional conveyance time may be required for mail items destined for Brunei Darussalam, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Guam, Myanmar, Nauru, Norfolk Islands, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands as mail items to these destinations have to be transited via other postal administrations.
