Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi this morning (April 3) in which a 75-year-old man died.

     At about 11.50am, the 75-year-old man reportedly collapsed when reversing a light goods vehicle (LGV) at an oil terminal on Tsing Yi Road. The LGV reportedly lost control and rammed into a platform.

     Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 12.33pm.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
