Disciplinary forces training schools to be opened to public to promote National Security Education Day
     ​In response to the National Security Education Day on April 15 (Saturday), the five training schools of the disciplinary forces will be opened to the public that day as the Security Bureau (SB), with its disciplinary forces and auxiliary services, seek to deepen the public's understanding of the disciplinary forces, their work and effectiveness in safeguarding national security. Members of the public can register online for free admission tickets starting tomorrow (March 23) via various disciplinary forces websites, mobile application or links.
     The open day will be held at the five training schools, namely the Hong Kong Police College, the Immigration Service Institute of Training and Development, the Hong Kong Customs College, the Hong Kong Correctional Services Academy and the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy. Various events will be held at the training schools, including grand parades, exercise demonstrations, guided tours of the colleges, virtual reality experiences, game booths, and the introduction of state-of-the-art and professional equipment and sharing by frontline personnel. From these events, members of the public can learn more about the forces' responsibilities of safeguarding national security and enhancing the awareness of national security, and of the requirement to abide by the law to share the obligation to safeguard national sovereignty, unification and territorial integrity.
     In addition, booths will be set up at the Hong Kong Police College to introduce the relevant work of the SB and its disciplinary forces and auxiliary services, including the Government Flying Service, the Civil Aid Service and the Auxiliary Medical Service.
     Members of the public are welcome to visit the National Security Education Day's dedicated website (www.nsed.gov.hk) to view information on the open day, and register through the links within the dates listed in the table below to obtain tickets. Successful applicants will receive a notification from the organiser.
