HA shopping centres to hold promotion activities to welcome Year of Rabbit (with photos)
****************************************************************************************
The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:

To welcome the Year of the Rabbit, shopping centres under the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) have put up festive New Year decorations and have arranged a series of celebratory events for shoppers to enjoy.

"The HA strives to provide a variety of programmes in its shopping centres to enhance the shopping ambience and increase patronage. For the coming Lunar New Year, there will be celebratory events in a number of our shopping malls, enabling our customers to enjoy shopping, and at the same time join the activities in the shopping centres to have fun and enjoy the various exciting programmes," a spokesman for the HA said today (January 17).

At Domain, the HA's regional shopping centre in Yau Tong, Kowloon, a variety of festive decorations under five lucky themes have been put up, bringing customers and members of the public good vibes for the New Year and providing them with photo-shooting spots. Robust and rejoicing rabbits are everywhere. There are over 20 rabbits of different sizes and a 4-metre-high giant rabbit greets visitors. The glowing giant rabbit at the roof-top garden looks particularly warm and welcoming at night.

Not only has the shopping centre been dressed up with New Year decorations, but all washrooms in the Domain have also been fully refurbished to welcome the New Year. There are new washrooms with trendy designs and new facilities, including new baby care rooms, parent-child compartments and smart LED hanging signs, etc, providing customers with a more comfortable and convenient experience.

During the afternoon of January 29 (Sunday), there will be fantastic programmes at the Domain, including performances by popular artists, a lion dance and a parade of the God of Wealth, etc. As well, every Saturday and Sunday from February 4 to 19 will cover both the Chinese and Western Valentine's Day, and a variety of performances including a magic show, an acrobatics performance, Chinese and Western music performance, etc, have been arranged at Domain for customers and visitors to enjoy.

On February 14 (Valentine's Day), soap roses or small bouquets of dried flowers will be given to visitors at Domain while quantities last.
