Appointments to Advisory Council on the Environment

Eleven new members are appointed to the ACE. They are Mr Eric Ho King-fung, Ms Linda Ho Wai-ping, Mr Alex Kwan King-fai, Dr Theresa Kwong Fuk-ning, Professor Dennis Leung Yiu-cheong, Mr Simon Ng Ka-wing, Mr Daryl Ng Win-kong, Mr Albert Su Yau-on, Professor Daniel Tsang Chiu-wa, Professor Wong Kam-bo and Dr William Yu Yuen-ping.
The Secretary for Environment and Ecology, Mr Tse Chin-wan, said, "I warmly welcome the appointment of Professor Chai and Professor Leung as the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman respectively of the ACE as well as the 11 new members to the Council. I am looking forward to the continued support of the ACE to the development of environmental protection and conservation policies.
"I thank the outgoing Chairman, Mr Stanley Wong Yuen-fai, and Deputy Chairman, Professor Nora Tam Fung-yee, for their leadership, dedication and support for the work of the ACE. I also thank the outgoing members, namely Miss Samantha Kong Wing-man, Ms Lam Chung-yan, Professor Lau Chi-pang, Ms Julia Lau Man-kwan, Dr Winnie Law Wai-yi, Mr Andrew Lee Chun-lai, Dr Ma Kwan-ki, Dr Jeanne Ng Chi-yun, Dr Sung Yik-hei, Mr Simon Wong Kit-lung and Professor Wong Sze-chun, for their valuable advice and contributions to the ACE in the past years."
The appointments, published in the Gazette today, will be effective from January 1, 2023.
