"M" Mark status awarded to Bank of Communications Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge 2022

The Major Sports Events Committee (MSEC) has awarded the "M" Mark status to the Bank of Communications Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge 2022, which will be held from December 23 to 25.
The Chairman of the MSEC, Dr Karl Kwok, said today (December 19) that this event, like all other "M" Mark events, would add colour and vibrancy to Hong Kong and help attract more visitors.
"The 'M' Mark events showcase Hong Kong's capability to host world-class events and enhance Hong Kong's position as a centre for major international sports events. These events will allow Hong Kong audience to enjoy high-level competitions or top-notch exhibition tournaments, and cultivate a sporting culture in the community," Dr Kwok said.
The "M" Mark System was launched in 2004 to help local national sports associations organise more major sports events and nurture them into sustainable undertakings. Sports events meeting the assessment criteria will be granted "M" Mark status by the MSEC. Funding support will also be provided to some event organisers.
