In addition, 11 patients who passed away in public hospitals were reported, including a five-year-old boy who passed away in Prince of Wales Hospital yesterday (December 1).

In response to the increasing number of confirmed cases in the community, the HA will strengthen the service capacity of seven HA Designated Clinics for COVID-19 Confirmed Cases (Designated Clinics) and tele-consultation service to provide medical support for confirmed patients in the community.

In order to focus manpower and resources to further enhance designated clinic and tele-consultation services, Violet Peel General Out-patient Clinic, Cheung Sha Wan Jockey Club General Out-patient Clinic and North Lantau Community Health Centre will adjust services from tomorrow (December 3). Details of the service adjustment arrangements of the clinics concerned together with the service adjustment arrangements of other General Out-patient Clinics announced earlier are set out in the Annex.

Chronic patients with follow-up appointments at the clinics concerned are advised to refill their drugs at the corresponding medication refill clinics on the appointment day by presenting their appointment slips and identity cards. The HA hopes that the community will understand those arrangements.
