Exhibition to showcase works by graduates of Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre's Art Specialist Course (with photos)

     The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!) of the Art Promotion Office is holding the "Art Specialist Course 2021-2022 Graduation Exhibition" from today (November 16) to February 13, 2023, to showcase creative achievements by 19 graduates and share bold new art ideas by these up-and-coming artists with the public. Admission to the exhibition is free.
      
     The exhibition has a theme of "Coexistence". The idea is based on the different backgrounds and goals of the graduates. They had strived to be inclusive and encourage each other over the past 10 months. They expressed the possibilities for fusion and co-existence through artistic creation in the form of Chinese art and sculpture.
      
     The new round of Art Specialist Course (2022-23) and Advanced Specialist Course (2022-23) are now open for application. The courses offer professional training and practice for art lovers under supervision. This year's course content for the Art Specialist Course includes ink art and pictorial art while the Advanced Specialist course will cover Chinese calligraphy, seal carving and mounting. The application deadline for both courses is December 12.      The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre is located at 7A Kennedy Road, Central. In order to comply with the current requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, visitors are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" venue QR code with their mobile phones/other mobile devices before being allowed to enter the museums under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, all persons entering indoor venues under the management of the LCSD must comply with the relevant requirements of the Vaccine Pass. According to the current requirement on the Vaccine Pass, all persons with their Vaccine Pass QR codes displayed in red or amber are not allowed to enter museums under the management of the LCSD.
      
     From November 17, patrons, including holders of an amber code, will need to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application to scan the venue QR code and comply with the Vaccine Pass requirements to enter the premises.
