HKETO, Brussels promotes health and medical sector opportunities to Spanish entrepreneurs (with photo)

     Riding on the Asia Summit on Global Health staged in Hong Kong on November 10 and 11, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) supported a seminar and networking luncheon in Madrid on November 15 (Madrid time) to promote opportunities in the Hong Kong health and medical sector to Spanish entrepreneurs.

     The Acting Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union, Miss Grace Li, outlined Hong Kong's advantages and the relevant policy priorities of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, which would bring enormous business opportunities to Spanish companies in this strategic healthcare and medical sector.

     HKETO, Brussels co-organised the event with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid (Cámara Madrid). The speakers included (in alphabetical order):
  • the Chief Executive Officer of PTS Global Quality Solutions, Mr Ignacio Adrada;
  • International Development Manager of Cámara Madrid Ms Esther Calvo Ruiz;
  • China Business Manager of ROVI Pharmaceutical Company Mr Ran Chen;
  • the Head of Investment Promotion, Invest Hong Kong (Brussels Office), Ms Paula Kant;
  • Barcelona Consultant of HKTDC Mr Higinio Martinez;
  • the Chief Executive Officer of Trilogi, Mr Màrius Rossell; and
  • the Executive Director of Madrid Futuro, Mr Pablo Vázquez.
