******************************************************************************************
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold Territory-wide Physical Fitness Survey for the Community test days on November 16 and 28 to collect physical fitness data for the age group 17 to 39. Members of the public aged 17 to 39 are welcome to enrol for the activities for free from today (November 11). Participants who complete the survey will receive a souvenir pack and a physical fitness test report.

The survey aims to set up a database on the physical fitness of Hong Kong people, identify the relationship between physical exercise patterns and the physical fitness of Hong Kong people, and assist the Government in identifying priority areas for improvement to enhance the overall physical fitness of the community. Through the survey, participants can have a general understanding of their own fitness levels, as well as understand the importance of physical fitness for health and exercising regularly in daily life.

The survey divides all participants into six categories by age group for data collection. This round of testing is specially being held for the age group 17 to 39 due to insufficient data collection. The LCSD appeals to people in this age group to participate in the test days.
