We Know·We Treasure Creativity Competition opens for submission of entries

As this year marks the historic occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE) and the Working Group on Local Community under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee are launching the We Know‧We Treasure Creativity Competition to enhance Hong Kong people's awareness of the Constitution, the Basic Law, "one country, two systems" and national security. The Competition opens from today (August 20) for submission of entries. Members of the public are welcome to join the competition.
The Competition comprises a slogan creation competition, a tongue twister creation competition and a photography competition. The Competition has three categories, namely Junior Category (Hong Kong residents aged 9-14), Youth Category (Hong Kong residents aged 15 – 24) and Adult Category (Hong Kong residents aged 25 or above). Participants can submit their entries via the Competition website www.cpcecreativitycompetition.com or download the application form from the Competition website to join the Competition. The deadlines for the three competitions are October 15, October 22 and November 1 respectively.
Participants who successfully submit their entries will have the opportunity to receive a souvenir while stocks last. The winners will also receive a certificate and gift vouchers worth up to HK$3,000.
The CPCE is a non-statutory advisory body. It advises the Government on the promotion of civic education outside schools, launches various publicity and educational programmes in the community, and provides sponsorship to eligible organisations for promoting civic education.
