A wide variety of Chinese and Western pieces will be performed by the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band, the Hong Kong Youth Strings, the Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra, the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Music Office Youth Choir and the Music Office Children's Choir under the batons of Music Office instructors Kevin Ling, Lee Sing-wan, Dr Joseph Kam, Kwok Kin-ming and former Chief Music Officer James Leung.

The exhilarating programme includes "March Sky Blue Dream" by Manabu Yato, which won the 26th Asahi Composition Award for Wind Orchestra; Nathan Daughtrey's "Water Spirits", inspired by an ancient Roman myth; the lively arrangement for strings of the final movement from "Piano Quartet No.1 in G minor" by Johannes Brahms; the vivid and passionate Chinese work "Rejoice"; the masterpiece "Moonlight on the Spring River", featuring a leading pipa; and the quintessential renditions by symphony orchestra and choirs of "Pavane" and "For the Beauty of the Earth".
