EPD convictions in February

Two of the convictions were under the Air Pollution Control Ordinance, eight were under the Noise Control Ordinance, nine were under the Public Cleansing and Prevention of Nuisances Regulation, two were under the Product Eco-responsibility Ordinance and 15 were under the Waste Disposal Ordinance.
A company was fined $10,000, which was the heaviest fine in February, for importing controlled waste without a permit.
