LegCo to consider proposed resolution under Road Traffic Ordinance

The Legislative Council (LegCo) will conduct a remote meeting by videoconferencing on Wednesday (March 30) at 11am. During the meeting, the Secretary for Transport and Housing will move a proposed resolution under section 23(3) of the Road Traffic Ordinance to seek the Council's approval to further extend the period for which the limit specified in the Road Traffic (Public Light Buses: Limit on Number) Notice 2016 on the total number of vehicles that may be registered as public light buses remains in force to June 20, 2027.
Meanwhile, the Arbitration and Legal Practitioners Legislation (Outcome Related Fee Structures for Arbitration) (Amendment) Bill 2022 will be introduced into the Council for the First Reading and the Second Reading. The Second Reading debate on the Bill will be adjourned.
