Assessment Committee for the Funding Scheme to Support Transitional Housing Projects by Non-government Organisations convenes 11th meeting

     The 11th meeting of the Assessment Committee for the Funding Scheme to Support Transitional Housing Projects by Non-government Organisations, chaired by the Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, Dr Raymond So Wai-man, was convened via video conferencing this morning (February 22). 
 
     The Assessment Committee agreed to subsidise the following transitional housing projects:
 
(i) Transitional housing development at Area 1B3, Muk On Street, Kai Tak, by Food For Good Limited. With a total funding of $385 million, it is expected to provide about 700 units.
 
(ii) Transitional housing development at government land in D.D. 82, Ping Che, Ta Kwu Ling, by Pok Oi Hospital. With a total funding of $336.74 million, it is expected to provide about 596 units.
 
(iii) Transitional housing development at 115 Castle Peak Road - Tsing Lung Tau, Tsuen Wan, by Pumen Foundation Limited. With a total funding of $48.025 million, it is expected to provide about 85 units.
 
(iv) Transitional housing development at Ngau Tam Mei South (Chun Shin Road), Yuen Long, by New Territories Association of Societies (Community Services) Foundation. With a total funding of $682.52 million, it is expected to provide about 1 208 units.
 
(v) Transitional housing development at Ngau Tam Mei North (San Tam Road), Yuen Long, by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong. With a total funding of $607.94 million, it is expected to provide about 1 076 units.
