Special arrangements for FSD's fire protection work starting February 7

     In view of the severity of the COVID-19 epidemic situation, which may continue to deteriorate, the Government needs to take further measures to significantly reduce the flow of people and social contacts in the community so as to curb further spreading of the virus. The Fire Services Department (FSD) today (February 4) announced that starting from February 7, the fire protection units of the FSD will provide essential public services, and special arrangements will be made for licence and acceptance applications.

     Starting from February 7, the Shroff Office and Receipt and Dispatch Counter of the Licensing and Certification Command Headquarters on the 5/F, Fire Services Headquarters Building (hotline during office hours 2733 7619), and the Receipt and Dispatch Counter of the Fire Safety Command Headquarters on the 7/F, Fire Services Headquarters Building (hotline during office hours 2170 9665), will provide services from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. In order to reduce social contact to contain the spread of the disease, members of the public are encouraged to settle payments electronically as much as practicable.
