Community Vaccination Centres to continue to serve the public during National Day long holiday

The Community Vaccination Centres (CVCs) under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme will continue to provide vaccination service to members of the public during the three-day National Day long holiday starting tomorrow (October 1), so as to enable the public to get vaccinated as early as possible to protect themselves and others.

A Government spokesman said members of the public can now get vaccinated through various channels. All eligible persons who want to receive COVID-19 vaccination can collect same-day tickets. They can get vaccinated without prior bookings as long as there are quotas for vaccination available at the CVCs. People may also make reservations and choose their preferred time slots for vaccination through the designated website (www.covidvaccine.gov.hk) of the Vaccination Programme, or they can receive the Sinovac vaccine through private doctors or clinics under the programme.

"If members of the public have elderly family members who are yet to receive vaccination, they should consider accompanying them to a CVC for vaccination during the holiday," the spokesman said.

In October and November, the following 21 CVCs will continue to provide the first dose of vaccination service for the public:
