LegCo Panel on Home Affairs visits site office of Kai Tak Sports Park (with photos)

The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:

     The Legislative Council (LegCo) Panel on Home Affairs visited the site office of the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) today (August 31) to understand the progress of the development of the KTSP. 
 
     Accompanied by the Commissioner for Sports, Mr Yeung Tak-keung, the Members first received a briefing by representatives of the Home Affairs Bureau and the Kai Tak Sports Park Limited on the design features and latest development of the KTSP and thus learnt about the use and operation mode of the KTSP after its completion in 2023. The Members then visited the site office of the KTSP and observed the construction progress of major facilities in the KTSP, including the Main Stadium, the Indoor Sports Centre, the Public Sports Ground and the Public Open Space.
 
     The Members who participated in the visit were the Panel Chairman, Mr Leung Che-cheung; Panel Members Mr Michael Tien, Ms Yung Hoi-yan, Mr Lau Kwok-fan and ‍Mr Vincent Cheng; and non-Panel Member Mr Lo Wai-kwok.
