SHA deeply saddened by death of LCSD staff and extends condolences

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Caspar Tsui, today (August 18) was deeply saddened by the death of a female artisan of the Hong Kong West Tree Team of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) when carrying out her duties.

Mr Tsui extended his deepest condolences to the victim and conveyed great concern to her family. He has instructed the LCSD to provide all necessary assistance to her family members and conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. Mr Tsui also expressed sympathy to the other staff member who was injured in the incident and wished him a speedy recovery.
