SHA congratulates Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning Olympic silver medal

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Caspar Tsui, today (July 30) congratulated Hong Kong swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games silver medal in the Women's 100m Freestyle for Hong Kong.

Mr Tsui said, "Siobhan Bernadette Haughey has been training hard for years and achieved outstanding results again in the Games with perseverance. Her success will inspire more athletes to pursue their dreams. I wish Siobhan glory in her future endeavours in sports and would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the coaches and supporting team for their contribution."
