Special transport arrangements on July 16 and 17 for Hong Kong Book Fair 2021

     The Transport Department (TD) today (July 12) reminded the public that to facilitate the extension of opening hours of the Hong Kong Book Fair 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) this Friday and Saturday (July 16 and 17), the following special transport arrangements would be implemented on those two days:

1. The ferry service between Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui will be extended to 11.30pm daily. The headway of the service will also be enhanced to eight to 12 minutes between 8pm to 11.30pm; and

2. To cope with the additional passenger demand, six special cross-harbour bus routes will be operated by the bus companies, including:

(i) Route Nos. 105R and 111R heading for Mei Foo and Yue Man Square in Kwun Tong respectively will operate from HKCEC Phase II on Expo Drive from 10pm to 12.30am of the following day daily. The headway will be 10 to 15 minutes with a fare charged at $17.90;

(ii) Route No. 603R heading for On Tai West will operate from Convention Avenue outside Harbour Centre from 10.15pm to 12.15am of the following day daily. The headway will be 30 minutes with a fare charged at $22.10;

(iii) Route No. 191R heading for The Capitol of LOHAS Park in Tseung Kwan O will operate from Fleming Road outside Convention Plaza Office Tower from 10.15pm to 12.30am of the following day daily. The headway will be 15 minutes with a fare charged at $26.80;

(iv) Route No. 168R heading for Yuen Long West will operate from Convention Avenue outside Harbour Centre from 10.30pm to 11.30pm daily. The headway will be 30 minutes with a fare charged at $38.30; and

(v) Route No. 178R heading for Choi Ngan House, Choi Po Court, will operate from Convention Avenue outside Harbour Centre from 10.55pm to 11.45pm daily. The headway will be 20 to 30 minutes with a fare charged at $43.30.
