Radio drama to showcase struggles and triumphs of Youth Employment and Training Programme trainees

The radio drama consists of six short stories adapted from the real-life experiences of seven YETP trainees. It showcases how the trainees, after joining the YETP's pre-employment and on-the-job training, have set directions and achieved goals in starting a new chapter in their lives with the support of family, case managers and course trainers of the YETP.
Featuring young singers Kwangor, Zac Liu, On Chan, Cath Wong, Terence Lam, Mag Lam and Anson Lo, the 18-episode radio drama will be broadcast during the programme "Three's a Crowd" on RTHK's Radio 2 every Monday between 3pm and 5pm from November 16.
The YETP provides a comprehensive job search platform with one-stop and diversified pre-employment and on-the-job training for young school leavers aged 15 to 24 with educational attainment at the sub-degree level or below. The programme helps young people understand themselves and their work aptitudes better, while enriching their job skills and experience for improving their employability.
Enrolment for the YETP is free of charge on a year-round basis, without minimum academic qualification requirements. Services provided include pre-employment training, one-month workplace attachment training, on-the-job salaried training for six to 12 months, and 12-month case management services provided by registered social workers. Trainees receive personalised career guidance, job search assistance and employment support. All eligible young people are welcome to apply. An off-the-job vocational training allowance and a retention allowance are provided to eligible trainees.
