Nordic and Hong Kong bands to present stunning showcase at Queen Elizabeth Stadium (with photos)

     Eight Nordic indie bands and five from Hong Kong will perform in the concert "Nordic & Hong Kong Band Sound Gala" on November 16 and 17 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, presenting sensational songs of urban life ranging from electro-pop to rock music in a stunning showcase.
 
     The details of the two concerts are as follows:
 
Date: November 16 (Saturday)
Time: 4pm to 9.30pm
Venue: Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena
Ticket prices: $460 (unreserved standing)
                    $180, $240, $360 (reserved seating)
Line-up: the prototyke lab (Hong Kong), Eleanoora Rosenholm (Finland), Jonathan Yang (Hong Kong), Elifantree (Finland), Milkmouth (Hong Kong), Menke (Sweden) and Einar Stray Orchestra (Norway)
 
Date: November 17 (Sunday)
Time: 3pm to 7pm
Venue: Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena
Ticket prices: $400 (unreserved standing)
                    $160, $200, $300 (reserved seating)
Line-up: Olivier Cong (Hong Kong), Gyða Valtýsdóttir (Iceland), CTM (Cæcilie Trier Musik) (Denmark), GDJYB (Hong Kong), Pale Honey (Sweden) and JFDR (Iceland)
 
     A mini Nordic market will be set up at the 2/F lobby of the Stadium with Nordic food and drink available for purchase. The exotic market will also feature live DJ performances, cultural displays, a CD sales booth, a ping-pong corner and a photo-taking area. Ticket holders are welcome to enjoy Nordic delicacies and the activities in the fun zone, which will open one hour before each concert begins.
 
     The concert "Nordic & Hong Kong Band Sound Gala" is one of the programmes of the World Cultures Festival 2019 - The Nordics. Tickets are now available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). For credit card telephone bookings, please call 2111 5999.
