Tenders invited for Central Kowloon Route - Buildings, Electrical and Mechanical Works

The works are scheduled to commence in June 2020 and will take about 80 months to complete. The works mainly include:
* Construction of tunnel buildings for the Central Kowloon Route including the Administration Building and ventilation buildings at Yau Ma Tei, Ho Man Tin and Kai Tak;
* Electrical and mechanical (E&M) works including the building services system, the tunnel ventilation system, the air purification system (APS), the lighting system, the central control and monitoring system (CCMS), the extra low voltage system, the electrical system, plumbing and drainage systems, the fire services system and the traffic control and surveillance system (TCSS);
* Tunnel cladding, thermal barriers, landscaping works and testing and commissioning of the E&M works; and
* Post-commissioning tests for the APS, the CCMS and the TCSS.
The HyD has appointed Arup-Mott MacDonald Joint Venture as the consultant to design and supervise the construction works. Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from Arup-Mott MacDonald Joint Venture at Level 5, Festival Walk, 80 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. Submission of tenders will close at noon on February 7, 2020 (Friday). Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located at the lobby of the Public Entrance on G/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong.
