Revamped official website of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today (September 9) launched its revamped official website (www.hkma.gov.hk). The revamped website contains enriched contents, clear navigation structure, and enhanced design layout, with a view to enhancing user experience and facilitating easy and convenient search by users based on their own preferences.
The revamped HKMA website features the following key enhancements:
- Enriched contents - In addition to carrying a vast amount of information ranging from press releases and speeches to publications, data and statistics as in the original website, the revamped website contains a new section on "Smart Consumers", where the public can find useful information and smart tips on a wide range of banking and related products/services. This echoes HKMA's long-standing efforts to promote "smart and responsible" use of banking services.
- Clear navigation structure - The navigation structure provides more comprehensive menus to allow easier navigation to different types of information on the website. For instance, all the relevant regulatory documents/guidelines are housed under a new dedicated section "Regulatory Resources" on the revamped website for easier access by industry practitioners and other interested parties alike.
- Enhanced design layout - There are more graphics, charts and videos to facilitate public understanding of the work of the HKMA and relevant financial concepts. The revamped website is also more mobile and tablet friendly.
As always, the HKMA will continue to maintain a high level of transparency and provide timely information to the public via various channels to keep the public abreast of its latest work and policies.
