Temporary closure of several Film Archive facilities

     The Hong Kong Film Archive (HKFA) will temporarily close its cinema, exhibition hall and box office from next Thursday (October 4) for renovation and improvement work. The services concerned are expected to resume in February next year. During the closure period, the HKFA will continue to present film programmes at different districts.

     The resource centre located on the third floor of the HKFA will remain open for its users to view audiovisual materials and read film-related books, magazines and publications. HKFA publications and souvenirs will be on sale there.

     During the renovation period, the HKFA's altered opening hours will be as follows:
 
  • Mondays, Wednesdays to Fridays: 10am - 7pm
  • Saturdays: 10am - 5pm
  • Sundays and public holidays: 1pm - 5pm
  • Tuesdays: Closed
