S for S deeply saddened by death of Senior Police Constable

     The Secretary for Security, Mr John Lee, today (March 22) was deeply saddened by the death of Senior Police Constable of Traffic Branch Mr Lum Hoi-wan. Mr Lum was hit by a light goods vehicle when handling a traffic accident this morning. He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later.

     "I am profoundly grieved at the loss of Mr Lum. I offer my deepest condolences to his family," Mr Lee said.

     The Police will make every effort to support and help the family of the late Mr Lum.
