Youth Music and Dance Marathon to be staged at HK Cultural Centre Piazza this Sunday (with photos)

     The Youth Music and Dance Marathon will be staged at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza this Sunday (January 7) from 1pm featuring more than 20 local bands, singers and dance groups to offer an energetic seven-hour outdoor concert. Admission is free.
 
     George Cheung and young musician Anna Fan will serve as the emcees, while emerging youth bands, singer-songwriter Jing Wong and YouTube singer JilTing will enchant the audience with dynamic and vibrant music including original pop and rock music. In addition, Anna Fan will lead percussion group da Jian to perform rhythmic drumming.
 
     Different styles of dance will be performed including street dance, jazz dance and judo dance, which fuses dance with judo. Members of the public may also join the fun of dancing in a dance workshop. There will also be a youth creative market selling handicrafts such as leather items, ornaments and fabric products, displaying the creativity of young artists.
 
     The Youth Music and Dance Marathon is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, with Caritas Hong Kong, Renaissance Foundation and the Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong as programme partners.
