Fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok

At about 3am, a motorcycle driven by a 26-year-old man was travelling along Wai Yip Street towards Mong Kok. When approaching near Choi Tak Estate, it reportedly rammed into a kerb on the right.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the driver was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.20am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
