Special talk entitled "In Pursuit of a Public Cultural Facility with Quality Visitor Services" opens for application

     Jointly organised by the Palace Museum and the Hong Kong Museum of History, a special talk entitled "In Pursuit of a Public Cultural Facility with Quality Visitor Services" will take place next Thursday (December 7). The Director of the Palace Museum, Dr Shan Jixiang, will speak on experiences in enhancing exhibition curation and customer services.
      
     Apart from demonstrating the essence of traditional Chinese culture, the Palace Museum's unique architecture, imperial rituals, gardening and relics fascinate and attract millions of visitors every year. The talk will describe the measures the Palace Museum has adopted to enrich the exhibition content and customer services in recent years to enhance the visitor experience. The measures include opening up more exhibition venues for visitors, bringing in multimedia exhibits and carrying out crowd management.
      
     The talk will be held at the Lecture Hall of the Hong Kong Science Museum from 3pm to 5pm. It will be conducted in Putonghua with free admission. Interested parties can call 2724 9082 during office hours for reservation. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved seats will be released to walk-in visitors waiting for admission five minutes before the talk starts.
