LCSD's heated swimming pools open in winter

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will provide heated swimming facilities in 26 swimming pools throughout the territory under its management for public use during winter to allow more people to continue to exercise. The department calls on swimmers to keep public swimming pools clean and hygienic and mind their safety while swimming.

To carry out regular and necessary maintenance works, individual swimming pools with heated swimming facilities will be temporarily closed during certain periods in winter. Details are as follows:

Swimming pool	Period of temporary closure
Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Swimming Pool	September 11 to December 3, 2017
Wan Chai Swimming Pool	December 23, 2017 to February 11, 2018
Kwun Tong Swimming Pool	January 9 to February 28, 2018
Tuen Mun Swimming Pool	January 28 to March 31, 2018
Sham Shui Po Park Swimming Pool	February 24 to April 15, 2018
Victoria Park Swimming Pool	February 22 to April 23, 2018

In addition, Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool without heated swimming facilities will be open from 6.30am to noon daily from November 1 to 30.
