SEN to attend C40 Steering Committee meeting and CityLab Summit in Paris

Mr Wong will begin his itinerary on October 22 (Paris time) by joining the events of CityLab 2017 with mayors, academics and leaders from other cities. Held annually since 2013, the summit aims at improving the living quality of cities. Mr Wong will speak at a breakout session on energy to share Hong Kong's experience in promoting energy efficiency and conservation, as well as renewable energy.
On October 23 (Paris time), Mr Wong will continue to join various plenary sessions of CityLab 2017 in the morning. He will attend the C40 Steering Committee meeting in the afternoon to discuss with other city officials the work on combating climate change.
Mr Wong will conclude his visit on October 24 (Paris time) and return to Hong Kong on October 25.
