Reservation can also be made by phone at 2594 6267. As seats are limited, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who cannot attend the forums can browse the information of the AQOs review and the possible new air quality improvement measures at the EPD's website www.aqoreview.hk and submit their views by October 14.

The current AQOs took effect on January 1, 2014. According to the Air Pollution Control Ordinance, the Secretary for the Environment is required to review the AQOs at least once every five years and submit to the Advisory Council on the Environment a report of the review. The review commenced in mid-2016. An AQO Review Working Group with dedicated sub-groups on four key aspects, namely air science and health, road transportation, marine transportation, and energy and power generation, has been formed to deliberate on the possible new air quality improvement measures and the assessments of the practicability of their implementation to identify possible scope to further tighten the AQOs. The review will be completed in 2018.
