Special traffic arrangements on Sunday

     The Police will implement special traffic arrangements on Sunday (September 3) in various districts to facilitate three public events.

Tai Po
------

A. Road closure

     Fo Yin Road between Chong San Road and Fo Hing Road will be closed from 4am to noon.

     Southbound Chong San Road between Fo Shing Road and Science Park Road will be closed from 6am to 11am.

B. Traffic diversions

     During the road closure period, the following traffic diversions will be implemented:

- Traffic along southbound Chong San Road heading for Science Park Road will be diverted via eastbound Fo Shing Road, northbound Fo Chun Road, northbound Chong San Road, roundabout, slip road, southbound Tolo Highway, slip road, roundabout and northbound Science Park Road; and
- Traffic along northbound Science Park Road heading for Fo Yin Road will be diverted via roundabout and northbound Science Park West Avenue.

Central
-------

     The layby of westbound Lung Wo Road outside City Hall will be suspended until noon on September 3.

     The following special traffic arrangements will be implemented from 5.30am to 11am:

A. Road closure

-  The northern section of Edinburgh Place; and
-  The western kerbside lane of the eastern section of Edinburgh Place.

B. Traffic diversion

     Traffic along the eastern section of northbound Edinburgh Place cannot turn left to the northern section of westbound Edinburgh Place.

Tsuen Wan
---------

A. Road closure

     Lo Wai Road between Lo Wai Pai Lau and Yuen Yuen Institute (YYI) will be closed from 8am to 5pm, except for franchised buses, taxis, green minibuses and vehicles with permit.

B. Suspension of parking spaces

     During the road closure period, all metered parking spaces at Lo Wai Road near Yi Pei Chun Road, Lo Wai Old Bus Terminus and outside YYI will be suspended.

     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
