Hospital Authority announces senior appointment (with photo)

The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesperson today (August 28) announced the following senior appointment.
Ms Anita Chan Shuk-yu will take up the post of Director (Finance), succeeding Ms Clara Chin, who will leave the HA with effect from September 1. Ms Chan joined the HA Head Office Finance Division in 1994 as Finance Manager and has worked her way up to the current position of Chief Manager (Treasury and Insurance Services). During the past 23 years, Ms Chan has been involved in most of the key functions and duties of the Finance Division. She successfully led the project team to implement the HA’s Enterprise Resource Planning System. She established the governance structure for treasury operations and investment management. She has also undertaken the financial controller role providing comprehensive financial services for the HA and its subsidiaries, affiliated entities and designated funds.
The HA Chairman, Professor John Leong, and the Chief Executive, Dr Leung Pak-yin, congratulated Ms Anita Chan on her new appointment and wished her every success in the new post. Professor Leong and Dr Leung also expressed their appreciation for the contribution of Ms Clara Chin in the Finance Division over the years.
