Anhui Acrobatic Troupe of China to perform acrobatic theatre show "MeiLi's Dream"

     Anhui Acrobatic Troupe of China will stage "MeiLi's Dream" in December. The performance will entertain audiences with a showcase of creative and daunting acrobatic skills as well as innovative visual effects.
 
     Presented with breathtaking Chinese acrobatic acts, the story of "MeiLi's Dream" tells of the dreams-come-true journey of a Chinese girl, MeiLi. Over the course of imagining, pursuing and achieving their dreams, MeiLi and her friends show invaluable spirit and the importance of diligence and perseverance.
 
     The show will showcase the troupe's signature acts including diabolo tricks, handstands, use of high poles and stacked chairs, forming a pagoda of benches, dribbling, hat tricks, aerial silks, tumbling through hoops, bicycle skills, slack wire moves, contortion and a great springboard act. This programme incorporates diversified and highly technical acrobatics with music, dance and special stage lighting effects, injecting new elements and energy into traditional acrobatic performance.
 
     Founded in 1956, the Anhui Acrobatic Troupe of China has performed in more than 100 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan and Korea. Committed to continuous innovation in acrobatic feats, the troupe has made remarkable achievements.
