"Journeys through Music" Lecture Series to feature French composers

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present a new chapter of the "Journeys through Music" lecture series from January to March next year. The new lectures, to be hosted by versatile music expert Dennis Wu, will feature eight renowned French composers.
 
     Romantic and delicate, the music of French composers can be likened to fine wine. A small change is enough to stimulate the human senses, awakening endless fantasies. The lecture series will take audiences on a journey through France with the appreciation and detailed analysis of French music. All lectures of "Journeys through Music Lecture Series: Into France" (in Cantonese) will be held at 7.30pm at the Lecture Hall of the Hong Kong Space Museum. Details are as follows:

     Dennis Wu is an active music critic, composer and specialist on a wide range of projects and productions. He is also a radio producer, a Radio Television Hong Kong radio host and a frequent speaker at pre-concert talks, meet-the-artist panels and music criticism seminars. His writings are widely published in local newspapers and magazines.
