Canada's Tout à Trac to perform "Alice in Wonderland" in December
*****************************************************************
Tout à Trac from Canada will stage "Alice in Wonderland" in December to revisit the classic literary treasure and share the magical charm of books with children.

Alice refuses to do her homework. She prefers to play and daydream in her father's study room where she stumbles across a strange rabbit that nibbles on books. Trying to stop it from eating books, Alice follows the rabbit into its rabbit hole. She chases it through its burrow and discovers a wonderland where she encounters many strange and fascinating characters.

In this adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic "Alice in Wonderland", the setting is no longer a garden but a library full of pop-up books. The audience will be amazed as each book becomes a door to the next adventure in which they can follow the rabbit.

Canadian troupe Tout à Trac has been exploring storytelling, mask theatre and puppetry through a style of theatre in which imagination is at the core of the creative process since 1998. In 2008, it created a unique adaptation of the classic "Alice in Wonderland", which won the Acadie-Rideau Award in Canada in the same year and has been performed more than 425 times in Canada, the United States, Asia and the Middle East.
