A total of 45 well-known enterprises in the Mainland and Hong Kong will participate in the fair. Amongst them, there are several multi-industry enterprises, and many others that engage in various trades and businesses including banking, finance, insurance, communications, transport, and import and export trade.
The vacancies offered cover a wide variety of positions such as director, actuarial analyst, legal specialist, manager, bank officer trainee, airline ticketing clerk, inspector, engineer, management trainee, project assistant and customer relations officer. Job seekers can find more information on the department's Interactive Employment Service website (www.jobs.gov.hk).
Most of the vacancies are full-time jobs. A large proportion of vacancies require secondary education level or above, or less than two years relevant experience, and many are suitable for fresh university/college graduates and young job seekers with post-secondary education. Job seekers may bring along their résumés and submit applications on the spot. They may also be selected for on-site interviews. There will be an exhibition area to introduce information on employment in the Mainland.
The job fair will run from 11am to 5.30pm at 1/F, Southorn Stadium, 111 Johnston Road, Wan Chai (MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A3). Admission is free.
