Teppei Syokudo brings new Japanese dining concept to Hong Kong
**************************************************************
Teppei Syokudo at Heard Street in Wan Chai offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a more affordable and casual style while focusing on fresh and high-quality ingredients, according to the General Manager, F&B Division of YCP Group, Mr Itaru Nagao. Teppei Syokudo is named after chef Teppei Yamashita, who was trained at a traditional Japanese restaurant in Fukuoka and currently runs a popular restaurant in Singapore.
Mr Nagao said, “Hong Kong has a fast-paced lifestyle. People here like fast food but also look for good quality at the same time. We believe that our concept of casual and authentic Japanese dining will be popular here. We are ready to satisfy Hong Kong people’s appetite with our high-quality food and traditional Japanese cooking skills in a more affordable way.”
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang said, “Hong Kong people love dining out and there is a particular liking for Japanese food. I am happy to see Teppei Syokudo bringing in a new Japanese dining concept to our city and confident that its business will be successful in Hong Kong.”
