Mainland Olympians display their talent at variety show (with photos)

     The Rio Olympic Games Mainland Olympians delegation this afternoon (August 28) got up close with the public at a variety show, "A Date with Mainland Olympians”, at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

     The variety show, the climax of the three-day visit by the Rio Olympic Games Mainland Olympians delegation, staged rich and colourful programmes. The Mainland elite athletes took part in today's show, demonstrating their talents in different performances and sharing with the spectators their experiences and feelings about participating in competitions.

     While an audience of some 2 700 enjoyed this fabulous show at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, the variety show was also broadcast live on TV.

     The delegation will leave Hong Kong tomorrow (August 29) afternoon.
